In 2008 Chris Glynne founded Bold Visions™ as an independent and outcomes focussed Management Consulting company. The aim was to help business leaders genuinely be bold with strategically leveraging and exploiting technology in pursuit of their goals.
The company helped many organisations such as BBC, Emap, Discovery Networks & Centaur.
After a skiing accident in 2013 Chris closed Bold Visions™ down and worked for GroupM as their CIO for several years. He established a continuous improvement model that implemented considerable structural change and brought significant benefits across the breadth and depth of their global technology estate – a visionary transformation programme, multi million pound hard savings and countless improvements to governance, resilience, reliability and efficiency.
Chris has an absolute passion for alpine skiing – still a qualified instructor in the British system. In his instructor training he was drilled about the importance of working the skis to be proactive and efficient… the evidence of such mastery is in leaving beautifully clean and well-structured tracks in the snow.
Following the COVID-19 lockdowns he decided it was time to get back to helping others achieve their ambitious and bold business goals. However, Bold Tracks™ is a reflection that whilst your ‘vision’ should be bold and ambitious… your strategy, tactics, implementation & operations need to be on smart and efficient ‘tracks’.
Bold Tracks is a 30 year amalgam of Chris’ experience, enthusiasm, focus and tenacity.
The service aims to ensure that the most bold of organisational visions can actually become a beneficial and sustainable reality… assuming the correct blend of skills, knowledge and experience are brought to bear.
